I am a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I am also a part of the Research Engineering & Design Lab at Adobe Research where I work on novel video workflows. I hold both a Bachelor's in Computer Science & Art (BCSA) and a Master's of Computer Science (MSCS) from Carnegie Mellon. During my time at Carnegie Mellon, I created the university's first Computer Graphics minor, which quickly got adopted to the Concentration in Computer Graphics.

I never wanted to do a PhD, so I skipped the PhD and went straight into research and being a professor. You can get far in life, and a PhD isn't necessary, nor is it for everyone. I get more enjoyment out of building technologies and applications using research rather than the research itself.

I'm always looking for motivated graduate and advanced undergraduate students to join my lab at Adobe Research for summer internships. If you're interested, feel free to get in touch with me.

I intentionally designed this website to look bad to fit in with all the other professor websites. If you'd like a higher-quality website, visit my personal website.

I don't like doing research. To fill the blank space, here are pictures of cats that I've fostered over the years:
