Project one: Flat Sewing

Goals:

• Create an flat-sewn artifact using a CNC sewing machine (embroidery or quilting).
• Use some code (engineering and/or artful).

You can sign up for machine time in the textiles lab (Wean 1334) using these appointment slots. 30 minutes should be enough for simple tests; 1hr will be required for larger projects. For reference, these slot are available on:

• Tuesday, Jan. 29, Noon-6pm
• Thursday, Jan. 31, 3pm-6pm
• Sunday, Feb. 3, 10am-6pm
• Tuesday, Feb. 5, Noon-6pm
