I wanted the user to feel kind of a ashamed and like a pervert. Mostly I took what most games do anyway-- have women with huge titties-- and making it a part of the game mechanic. It was also interesting to get my friends reactions to this game; if a guy had made this game I don't think it would be quite as humorous. It would mostly be pervy.
First I had to handle the physics. I made a failed system that kept the length of the breast to the camera constant, but then I realized this is not what I wanted. It did however make the individual breasts have more life, which my current version doesn't have. I then turned the breasts into springs and poked at the numbers the best I could in order to make the motion what I wanted (note: not realistic. Clearly you can't draw shapes with normal boobs).
I drawed the shape I wanted the user to mimic on the screen and checked each point drawn by the user to ensure it was close enough to that shape. The system for checking this is definitely not correct, but it will dock you if you draw incorrectly. There is no punishment for drawing incorrectly-- you just try again. The whole point is swinging the boobs so I'm not going to get in the way of that.
I also added a free draw feature because I thought it was kind of fun to draw with springs.
I think this is sufficiently novel-- there are boobs (which are always amusing, or something) and it's a twist on the Wario Ware type "Draw this shape really fast". The springs make shapes that are typically easy in that format (squares, lines) more difficult.
This game mostly fulfills my purpose. I know I feel too ashamed to work on it in public because I'd have to jiggle boobs on my screen to test things. If I feel ashamed working on it then hopefully someone else will feel ashamed playing it.
I wish I had time to put a timer in this game so that people feel the need to really shake the boobs in order to get them to most faster. If I set a time limit there would be more jiggling going on.
Ultimately this is just me going: "Women are more than T&A" There's A LOT more that I could say about women in games, but I'll leave that for another day. Let's do this simple lesson first: "Women are more than T&A". Even "Women have different sized and shaped T&A" would be nice. I realize plastic surgery has changed our social concept of ideal woman but c'mon!
