In order to spark discussion of mechanics, graphics, and techniques used in games, each class will contain a short (10 minute) student-contributed game review.
Reviews will be presented by pairs of students, and should consist of a projected gameplay video or live demonstration along with (verbal) descriptions of what we can learn from the game. No slide decks are required or tolerated.
Reviews that provide insight into a game and spark class discussion will receive a full (2-point) score. Reviews that simply laundry-list game features or show gameplay without providing analysis will receive only a single point.
