Final Project:
The final projects will give you the opportunity to develop any of
the techniques that you have used during class or others of your own
invention. You will work in teams of one, two or three people.
All members of a team cannot have the same major. The
final project must be of an appropriate length based on the number of
members in the team and the complexity of the proposed project.
Project Pitch:
Each student should prepare 2 or 3 slides on video (no longer than three minutes) that you
will narrate live during class. Use those slides to tell the nature of
the experiment from either the creative side, the technical side, or both.
Describe the skill sets that are necessary to complete the project.
Pitches are ungraded so feel free to extend your ideas.
Final Crit:
Before the final crit, each team must upload to box:
-
The final animation.
-
The making of video. It should include at least storyboard/concept art, an explanation of your process, and documentation of your experimentation.
Each student should also independently send the instructors an
email with a list of what each member of the team contributed to the project
(including their own contribution).
