Assignment 2: Puppeteering
With a partner, create a puppeteered or stop motion animation using
available technology or tools you invent. Your animation should be at
least 10 seconds in length and uploaded to the class vimeo channel. The
finished piece must experiment with content, form or technique in some
way, that you will discuss at the crit. We expect this assignment to
require at least 25 hours of effort from each team member.
Available technology includes:

Puppeteering via Adobe Character Animator (part of the Creative Cloud)

Cameras: cellphone, GoPro, or SLR cameras (available for checkout from Bob Kollar)

Adobe On Location (to couple the camera to the computer)

locktite can be used to stiffen joints that you do not want to be as flexible as others

Plasticine clay or sculpty clay (never hardens, heavy)

Paperclay (hardens lightweight for heads and torso)

insulation foam or fluffy batting for filling in the body and keeping it lightweight

In lieu of an armiture, you can use Oatey fix-it stick bonding putty used with wire
